AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE NOISE ORDINANCE (2023-02) TO INCLUDE LANGUAGE ENACTING RESTRICTIONS ON DYNAMIC BRAKING SYSTEMS WITHIN THE CITY OF OAKLEY

On May 22, 2024 at the regularly scheduled Oakley City Council meeting, Ordinance 2024-01 was formally adopted and is effective as of this posting date, May 22, 2024.

Ordinance 2024-01 amends the current Oakley City Noise Ordinance and adds language that involves the regulation of dynamic braking systems often referred to as "engine brakes" of "J Brakes" within the City of Oakley.

This ordinance is available in its entirety for viewing at the Oakley City offices, located at 960 West Center Street, Oakley Utah 84055, Monday thru Thursday during the hours of operation 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or on our website at www.oakleycity.com
