As most of you know, this is a large, complicated application. The public hearing is to hear the developer's presentation for the master planned development and 2 zoning amendments. The public hearing for two conditional use permits will follow at a later date should the zoning amendments be approved. I have completed a staff report for this set of applications (see the calendar date for 9.6.2023.) The staff report is a summary of the applications and a few clarifications to be addressed at a later meeting, but at this point, the public has the same materials and information as Oakley Staff. Staff, Planning Commission, Mayor, and City Council will be hearing the presentation for the first time with the public. The agenda of this meeting is to hear the presentation and allow for public comment. If public comment is substantial, we will continue the public hearing until our next meeting. We want everyone to have a chance to "weigh-in." Discussion among Planning Commission will be either minimal or non-existent, and this will not be noticed as an actionable item, which means that no decision will be made that night. We wish to get information, hear from public, and then allow for time to process, formulate questions, thoughts and ideas, and plans for next step. Please let me know if you have questions.
